All is progressing well and the RAAF look like getting the Dak and Boo from HARS to attend the parade. They are also trying to contact past C/O's of 35 Sqn so they can be invited to the Parade and welcome ceremony - and they need your help.

The RAAF has now finalised their plans for the celebration. Unfortunately, you must log in again and submit more details (the details you sent to us enabled the RAAF to ascertain and plan for numbers) and we need the numbers for the "Meet and Greet" on the Friday and the Barbecue on the Sunday.

It'll be a great day so get in quick before they all sell out.
If you click on the 35SQN Dedication Colours Parade link, you will be able to purchase tickets for both the parade and the evening function, as well as purchase port if you desire.
There is no cost to attend the Parade, however, each member that is attending the parade (including spouse's and children) will need to be registered for a ticket. Registering here will generate a list of members attending which will then be used to issue Visitor Passes on the day. However, if members already hold a valid entry pass for RAAF Base Richmond, then they can enter the base using that pass instead.
The cost to attend the Dinner is $25 per head. Unfortunately this is an adults only (18+) function, therefore children are not permitted to attend. Once you purchase your ticket, you will also need to ensure that you print it out and bring it with you to the function. There will be a very strict "No ticket, No entry" process in place on the evening.
There is also a commemorative croc of Port available for purchase for a cost of $40, which members will be able to collect on 08 Aug 15.
Once you have purchased your tickets, it is requested that you forward me an e-mail so I can track who is still to purchase them.
Timings
The Dedication Parade is due to commence at 1400 h. All members are required to be at the car park opposite the old front gate between 1230 h and 1330 h. Names will be marked off the guest list and Visitor's Passes will be issued here and then a bus will ferry members to the parade.
There will be a flypast conducted by the visiting DC-3 and Caribou aircraft during the parade. (Sorry, no fly-over of the Spartan). Then at the conclusion of the parade, members will be invited to look over all aircraft and purchase memorabilia from the 35SQN Social Club. For members not attending the evening function, buses will then ferry people back to the car park. Those members are to ensure they return their Visitor Passes to the bus driver prior to exiting the bus.
For members attending the evening function, buses will ferry people from the Parade to the RAAF Richmond SGT's Mess. All members are to ensure they have their ticket for the evening function available for collection at the door to the Mess.

The Meet and Greet.
The Meet and Greet will be held at the Windsor RSL on Friday the 7th August, starting at 4.00pm. We have booked a private room/area and will arrange to have "finger-food" provided from 5.30pm onwards. Entry will cost $20 per person which will include the food but will not include your drinks.
Drink costs will be $3.50 for a middy of local beer and $5.00 for a schooner. Spirits and wines will vary, depending on choice, but will be at Club (cheaper) prices.
At 9.00pm, we will have to vacate the room, but we can "resume" in another area of the Club.
A week or so prior to the 7th we have to nominate the number attending and pay for the food in advance, so if you've indicated you were going but for some reason now you can't, please let me know so I can cater accordingly. Similarly, if you have indicated you weren't coming but now you can, also let me know
